A quality audit is a structured review of quality management activities. Objective is to identify lessons learnt that can improve performance of this project or of other projects within the performing organization.
Quality audits may be scheduled or random and they may be carried out by property trained in house auditors or third parties.
Executing agency will be required to prepare a sound quality assurance plan which will be in conformity with the general guide lines contained in manual. Such QAP will be implemented after it is accepted and approved by client / customer. For implementation of QAP, executing agency will be obliged to engage qualified staff who will work in close coordination with the supervision team of client / customer deployed for the project.

Designs for the project will be based on the approved design criteria and applicable norms. Such design submissions shall be checked and reviewed to ensure conformity with contractual provisions and proper coordination within various documents.
The working drawings shall be issued, only after design review.
